Yes. Since 2019, Article 34.9 of the Workers' Statute requires all companies to record each employee's working hours, including start and end times. The draft of the new Royal Decree reinforces this obligation by requiring that time tracking be 100% digital, with traceability, electronic signature and remote access by the Labor Inspectorate.

The draft requires recording the exact hour and minute of start and end of the workday, the start and end of each unpaid break, the mode (on-site or remote), the nature of the hours (regular, overtime or supplementary) and daily and monthly totals. ARJ already meets most of these requirements.

The regulation requires records to be retained for a minimum of 4 years, accessible to workers, legal representatives, the Labor Inspectorate and Social Security. ARJ stores all records securely with SHA-256 digital signatures and encrypted backups.
